This is a traditional warm Hatha full-body yoga practice that focuses on fundamental poses, posture, body alignment, and mindful breathing. The class moves at a simple, steady, meditative pace. This class is best for any new or beginner student. At the same time, experienced students will be given more difficult variations of poses so they can continue challenging themselves. The class is practiced in a warm room (90-95 degrees) to improve flexibility and mobility. Our students leave this class feeling strong, flexible, and more aware/in-tune in both body and mind.
While Loveland Classic is more about holding and maintaining strong poses, a flow class focuses on the way we move between our postures as well. In essence, we learn to move and flow like water. The class is practiced in a warm room (80-85 degrees) to improve flexibility and mobility. Music is used in this class to help create an energy that is upbeat, fun, and playful. Students can expect to gain lots of core strength, full-body flexibility, and a practice all kinds of fun and exciting poses in a judgment-free environment.
Physically, this class is purely for flexibility. Most of the poses are done seated or lying down and there is a combination of movement/active flexibility and static holds. Static poses are held for up to 3-5 minutes. This makes it perfect for working out any deep tensions in the muscles and connective tissues. The room is non-heated, at a relaxing 75 degrees. Mentally, this practice is all about slowing down, letting go, and taking time to ourselves in a quiet, peaceful environment.
Loveland Acro Yoga is often called the Yoga of Trust. It is a partner based practiced where we work in teams to create fun and challenging poses. Students learn to support each other in their practice, to communicate effectively, and how to safely progress together within this exciting art form. Acro is also sometimes called the Yoga of Divine Playfulness. While most adults have lost their sense of playfulness, acro teaches us to rediscover and fully embrace that playful energy that exists in us all.
This is an expert's only class that is not suitable for beginners. Expect to move at a quick pace to build up towards a variety of advanced and deep postures. The class is taught with minimal instructions. Students who attend should have at least one year of experience taking Vinyasa Flow Classes and confidence in performing fundamental postures.

Meditation is a powerful tool for relieving the internal pressures of the mind. It brings about a balanced emotional state of being, more self-awareness, and ultimately, spiritual insight. In every mediation class, our teachers first provide guided meditation. The guided portion is then followed by quiet time in order for the student to really be with themselves. You will learn how to break up disruptive thought patterns using various mindfulness and visualizations techniques. Upon calming the mind, you will then gain access and knowledge around how to intentionally cultivate and work with the various energies that exist in our consciousness.
This class is suitable for all levels of experience.
